Our Purpose

"The relief of those in need, by reason of mental ill-health, through the provision of salsa and bachata dance groups."
Registered Charity No. 1218987 England & Wales

Mental ill-health can be isolating. It pulls people away from others and out of their own bodies. We believe shared movement — the simplest, most human form of connection — is part of the way back.

We bring people together through salsa and bachata: partner dances built on trust, gentle contact and joy. No experience is needed. Our groups are safe, inclusive spaces where people living with anxiety, depression, loneliness and stress can rebuild confidence one step at a time.

We don't run a building of our own — we bring our sessions into welcoming community and partner venues close to the people who need them, right across England and Wales.

What We Offer

Groups designed to lift you, not test you

Every session is led with warmth and paced for wellbeing first. Come alone or with a friend — you'll be welcomed either way.

💃

Beginner Salsa Circles

Relaxed, rotating-partner sessions where the only goal is to feel a little lighter. No routines to memorise, no pressure to perform.

🤝

Bachata for Connection

Slow, grounding movement that rebuilds a sense of trust and calm — especially helpful for those coping with anxiety or isolation.

🌱

Wellbeing & Referral Sessions

Quieter groups run in partnership with community and mental-health services, so people can be referred into a supportive space.

How It Works

Your first step is easy

Get in touch

Message us or come along to a session in a community venue near you. Refer yourself, or ask a support worker to refer you.

Just turn up

Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes. No partner, no experience and no dance background needed — we'll guide you through everything.

Move & connect

Dance at your own pace in a friendly group, meet people, and leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.

Why Dance

Movement is medicine we can share

Dance combines physical activity, music and human connection — three of the most evidence-backed supports for mental wellbeing.

0%Regular physical activity is linked to meaningfully lower risk of depression*
0People in England experience a mental-health problem each year*
+MoodGroup dance is shown to reduce anxiety and boost social connection*
BelongingSocial connection is one of the strongest protectors of mental health*
